P.T. NIPSEA PAINT AND CHEMICALS was established in 1969 in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia.

With greater demands in the 70's, a second plant was set up in Medan, North of Sumatra, followed by Surabaya, East Java. The fourth plant, set up recently in Purwakarta, West Java is to complement the extension of the Jakarta plant.

The combined four plants of P.T. NIPSEA PAINT AND CHEMICALS employ a total work force of 2,500 workers.

Collectively, the four plants are producing the decorative paint, industrial paint, marine paint, heavy-duty coatings and customer-tailored paint to cope with the ever-stringent requirements of quality and the up grading of paint technology.

To make our products available throughout Indonesia and to service the customers more efficiently, extensive marketing networks are set up. With more than 20 depots in the major towns stretching from Aceh, the northern tip of Sumatra, throughout the Indonesia archipelago, to the most eastern tip of Irian Jaya.

P.T. NIPSEA PAINT has a fully equipped and integrated Research & Development department in Jakarta to undertake all the paint research activities, formulate new products and to improve the paint technology in general.

To maintain our leadership in the paint industry, P.T. NIPSEA PAINT will continue to strive and to improve our paint technology, create a wider range of products and to increase market distribution networks to satisfy the paint market.
