Ecologically Responsible

We are committed to developing and producing environmentally-oriented products and reducing the environmental footprint of our operations.

This commitment has led to an organisation-wide eco-friendly drive – from product innovation, development, manufacturing to workplace initiatives. At Nippon Paint, we believe we have the ability to promote environmental sustainability through our research and development of quality paints that are produced to exacting safe and environmental standards and utilise minimum resources to reduce any impact to the environment.

Socially Responsible

Nippon Paint has been active in supporting community programmes since 2002. We have supported orphanages, disaster areas in Sichuan and Project Hope, a charity programme by the China Youth Development Foundation.

Project Hope aims to provide a better educational environment for primary school children in remote rural areas in China. With the support of Nippon Paint, 12 Hope Primary Schools have been completed and handed over and the programme continues.

Working with DuPont, Nippon Paint also initiated the Color, Way of Love programme to paint the walls of 100 schools in the next three years to improve the conditions for education so as to inspire imagination and the love of learning in the students.

Set up in 2009, the Nippon Paint Color Project Hope Fund will donate Nippon Art Classrooms in Hope schools in addition to building more Hope schools in Chinas rural areas.
